Courses

We offer a diverse and specialist range of higher education degrees across key land-based industries – including viticulture, horticulture, animal behaviour and conservation, equine/canine physiotherapy, veterinary nursing, environmental studies, and rural land and business management.

We are also the only institution in England offering degrees in viticulture and oenology (winemaking; wine business studies), providing unique opportunities for students to train in the heart of the South East’s thriving wine industry, supported by state-of-the-art facilities, a commercial vineyard, and an award-winning winery.

Our programmes are developed in close consultation with industry, ensuring students gain the practical skills and academic knowledge employers are looking for. Many of our staff are industry professionals or active researchers, bringing real-world insight and innovation into the classroom.

We work closely with students, graduates and sector experts to embed key professional and sustainability-focused themes into our teaching – preparing graduates to be adaptable, future-ready, and confident in their chosen careers.

Whether your ambition lies in beverage production, land management, animal conservation, sustainability, veterinary, or wine science, Plumpton is the place to gain a high-quality, hands-on education in a supportive and collaborative environment.
